Job Requirements
- Must be a US citizen
- Minimum of 10 years experience in aviation maintenance
- Minimum of 4 years of F-35 maintenance experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a trainer or instructor role
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
- At least 2 years experience with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
- Working knowledge of various maintenance and logistics programs
- Experience with training records and curriculum planning
- Experience with USAF, USN, USMC maintenance practices
- Interim Secret Security Clearance required and ability to obtain Final Secret Security Clearance
- Ability to work part-time remote and on-site at a Lockheed Martin facility
- Must be willing to work a standard 40-hour workweek
- US citizen for security clearance purposes
- Strong communication and leadership abilities preferred
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 total years in aviation maintenance
- Minimum of 4 years of F-35 maintenance experience with thorough understanding of fighter aircraft systems and operation
- Minimum of 2 years in an instructor or training role
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role
- At least 2 years of experience with the Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
- Working knowledge of aircraft scheduling, records management, job/maintenance control, configuration control, maintenance information systems, tool and FOD control, training, safety, security, hazardous waste management, and supply chain management
- Experience in training records management, scheduling, and curriculum development and planning
- Experience evaluating and enforcing compliance with technical data, environmental and safety directives, and maintenance procedures
- Experience with USAF, USN, and USMC maintenance practices
- Possession of at least an Interim Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Final Secret Clearance
Job Duties
- Ensure all maintenance activities meet or exceed DCMA 8210.1C/D and applicable service guidance for all F-35 variants
- Work directly with military, Lockheed Martin, and foreign partners to keep maintenance training current and compliant
- Manage services, repairs, and overhaul of aircraft and aircraft engines to guarantee mechanical soundness and flight safety
- Supervise multiple maintenance disciplines within an integrated workforce environment
- Ensure workforce adherence to technical instructions, AFI 21-101, NAVAIR 4790, and local operating instructions
- Advise management on work status, material availability, and production issues
- Enforce good housekeeping and safety practices
