Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Aviation Maintenance Mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of aircraft systems including engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, and avionics
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment and tools used in aircraft maintenance
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards
  • Physical stamina
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Conduct routine inspections of aircraft systems and components to identify any potential issues or areas of concern
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical problems, utilizing technical manuals, diagnostic equipment, and expertise in aircraft systems
  • Perform repairs and replacements on aircraft systems and components, ensuring all work is completed accurately and in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed, including documenting parts used and time spent on each task
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following established guidelines for working on aircraft
  • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and aviation professionals to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operation
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in aircraft technology and industry regulations, attending training sessions and workshops as required
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance schedules and plans, ensuring that all aircraft are properly maintained and serviced on a regular basis
  • Communicate effectively with pilots, crew members, and other aviation personnel to address any maintenance-related concerns or issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools, equipment, and materials are properly stored and accounted for
