Job Requirements
- must be willing to travel domestically and internationally as a flight crew member
- must be able to obtain a passport, visas and pass a background investigation
- must be willing to adapt to a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime
- good physical condition to pass company physical examination
- must be willing to relocate within 1 hour of Ewing, New Jersey
- up to 50% travel required
- responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections
- maintain records and logs complying with government and FAA rules
- participate actively in the department safety management system
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree required
- science degree in aviation maintenance technology preferred
- federal aviation administration airframe and powerplant certificate
- knowledge of federal aviation regulations pertaining to maintenance, inspection, and repairs
- prior experience as a flight technician or cabin attendant providing customer service preferred
- proven ability in inspection, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of airframes, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, and aircraft engines
- strong understanding of onboard entertainment and communication systems including satellite, data-connectivity, and Iridium phone
Job Duties
- work with a fast-paced flexible daily work schedule in a small team environment
- perform maintenance on all aircraft including launch and recovery operations
- act as an observer during take-offs and landings
- perform the duties of flight safety attendant including meal service for passengers and crew
- analyze and correct malfunctions in collaboration with flight crew
- assist in medical or other emergencies
- supervise maintenance performed by third-party vendors
- manage cabin connectivity issues including Iridium, KA internet and Starlink systems
- adapt to a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
