Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seven plus years working with heavy commercial or military aircraft including towing, jacking, and handling hazardous materials
- Attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills to resolve complex maintenance challenges
- Ability to work independently
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Proficiency with technical documentation and schematics
- A&P license required
- Engine run qualification
- ASTM NCATT Aircraft Electronic Technician Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to obtain or hold U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance within one year preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Seven or more years of experience with heavy commercial or military aircraft maintenance
- Proven attention to detail skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills including reading and interpreting technical diagrams and schematics
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Familiarity with company philosophy and processes
- Multi-point refueling system experience is advantageous
- CFM56-2B jet engine experience is beneficial
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- A&P license required
- Engine run qualified
- ASTM NCATT Aircraft Electronic Technician Certificate
- Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
- Lead aircraft maintenance crews during inspections to identify discrepancies and airworthiness issues
- Fill skilled leadership roles such as work leader, task certifier, and staff positions
- Achieve and maintain comprehensive systems knowledge to repair hydraulics, avionics, jet engines, electrics, fuel systems, sheet metal, and flight control surfaces
- Perform daily inspections, launch/recover aircraft, refuel/defuel, debrief aircrew, troubleshoot and repair discrepancies
- Follow all safety directives, maintenance procedures, and FAA regulations
- Maintain current certifications and training
- Accurately record aircraft maintenance in automated systems
- Manage crew of 10-12 aircraft mechanics
- Operate ground support equipment and perform flight-line driving
