Job Requirements
- Membership in the National Guard with a compatible military grade and assignment
- Eligible for immediate membership if not currently a National Guard member
- Military grades E-6 through E-8
- Compatible military assignments AFSC 2A3XX, 2W1XX, 2A7XX
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory
- Federal employment suitability as determined by background investigation
- Ability to obtain and maintain appropriate security clearance
- Valid state driver’s license if position requires operating motor vehicles
- Commitment to upholding U.S. laws and Constitution
- Successful completion of probationary period if required
Job Qualifications
- Administrative or clerical experience, education, or training relevant to the position
- Experience with computer and automation systems
- Minimum 36 months of specialized experience related to aircraft maintenance coordination or similar roles
- Experience developing and recommending policies and procedures
- Experience organizing and carrying out maintenance programs
- Experience in supervisory, staff, or technical work involving evaluation of managerial or administrative policies
- Experience preparing written communications and oral presentations
Job Duties
- Responsible for the total squadron maintenance program and enforcing safe maintenance practices
- Identify, assemble, and manage critical equipment items
- Participate in establishing monthly and weekly maintenance plans
- Attend daily maintenance planning meetings and incorporate unscheduled maintenance
- Monitor flightline maintenance activities and evaluate completion times
- Coordinate with supervisors to assign tasks and resolve personnel shortages
- Oversee compliance with maintenance policies and technical data
- Execute and coordinate disaster control duties on the flightline
- Perform other duties as assigned
