Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend throughout shift and climb stairs
- Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 50 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
- Must be able to verbally direct in English
- Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
- 10-20 percent outside work
- Physical exam may be required to confirm physical demands
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand, and verbally communicate effectively in English
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations preferred
- Ability to supervise and coordinate work crews
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer skills for report writing
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- Demonstrated reliability and professionalism
Job Duties
- Oversee and assist in thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, removing garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange
- Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
- Leave notices for supervisor to reorder low supply items
- Accurately complete and submit reports in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with all FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
- Communicate and maintain cleanliness and maintenance needs in assigned areas
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public
- Attend meetings and training sessions
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain accurate records and reports
- Enforce proper uniform and identification badge policies
- Follow company policies and contribute to company objectives
- Use company and client equipment, supplies, and resources in a cost-effective manner
- Perform any additional duties as requested
