Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift and bend throughout shift and climb stairs
  • Must be able to lift, carry and hold up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Must possess authorization to work in the U.S. from the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
  • Must be able to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • 10-20% outside work
  • May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to read, write and verbally communicate effectively in English
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA and airline regulations
  • Ability to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and direct cleaning crews

Job Duties

  • Oversee and assist in thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys
  • Stock aircraft according to client specifications with required supplies
  • Manage and respond to client and employee needs and escalate issues to supervisors
  • Complete reports and maintain records accurately and timely
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and communicate courteously with airlines, staff and the public
