Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- reliable telephone and transportation
- valid driver’s license
- must be able to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 lbs
- able to sit, stand, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift
- pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- pass criminal background check
- treat all information as confidential
- ability to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- meet necessary requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- possess authorization to work in the US
- able to read, write, and understand instructions in English
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- ability to understand and carry out instructions in English
- ability to verbally direct in English
- knowledge of FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations is advantageous
- effective communication skills
- ability to manage and lead a team
- attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- oversee and assist in comprehensive cleaning of aircraft interiors
- ensure galley stocking per aircraft specifications
- supervise cleaning crew and respond to client and employee needs
- address issues with supervisor promptly
- perform thorough cleaning including vacuuming, dusting, bathrooms, galley, upholstery exchange, and rug exchange
- provision aircraft with required ship supplies
- complete reports accurately and timely
- maintain familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
- maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
- attend meetings and inservices
- utilize communication channels and maintain records
- adhere to company policies and procedures
- use equipment and resources cost-effectively
- comply with safety requirements including PPE and reporting unsafe conditions
