Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • must have a valid driver's license
  • must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend throughout shift, and climb stairs
  • must be able to lift, carry, or hold up to 50 pounds
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must complete criminal background check
  • must possess necessary authorization to work in the U.S.
  • must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security-sensitive identification badge
  • may be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • may be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • must treat all information as confidential
  • must possess tact to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • high school diploma or GED
  • ability to read, write, understand and verbally communicate in English
  • familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to manage and supervise cleaning crews
  • knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance
  • basic report writing skills
  • ability to follow instructions accurately

Job Duties

  • Oversee and assist in thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, cleaning garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery and rug exchange
  • stock aircraft with required supplies based on aircraft type
  • leave notice for reordering supplies running low
  • maintain accurate and timely reporting
  • ensure familiarity and compliance with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
  • keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas
  • maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
  • project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and public
  • attend required meetings and trainings
  • utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain required records
  • adhere strictly to company policies and procedures
  • use company and client equipment and supplies conscientiously and cost-effectively
  • perform any other duties as requested
