Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 50 lbs
  • Must be physically able to sit, stand, bend, climb stairs throughout shift
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and verbally communicate in English
  • Must possess necessary authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • Must treat all information as confidential
  • Must possess tact in dealing with employees and client representatives
  • 10-20% outside work

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Must be able to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Must be able to verbally direct others in English
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations preferred
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills
  • Ability to maintain positive interactions with staff and clients
  • Ability to use communication tools for record-keeping and reporting

Job Duties

  • Oversee and assist in thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, changing linens, handling upholstery and rug exchanges, and garbage removal
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies based on aircraft type
  • Leave reorder notices for supplies running low
  • Complete all reports accurately and timely
  • Maintain compliance with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
  • Communicate needs and problems to supervisor and maintain cleanliness of work areas
  • Project positive image and respond courteously to airline staff and public
  • Attend meetings and in-services as required
  • Maintain records, reports, and files using appropriate communication channels
  • Ensure proper uniform or business attire and visible identification badges
  • Adhere to company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
  • Utilize company and client equipment and supplies conscientiously and cost-effectively
  • Perform additional duties as requested by supervisor or management
