Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, or bend throughout shift and climb stairs
- Must be able to lift, carry or hold up to 50 lbs
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- May require DMV check
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a US citizen or have necessary INS authorization
- Must have good hearing and vision
- Able to work 10-20% outside
- May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
- Must be attired in proper uniform or business attire and display identification badge at all times
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Must be able to verbally direct in English
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
- Ability to attend meetings and inservices as required
- Ability to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays as needed
Job Duties
- Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, clearing garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange
- Provision aircraft with required ship supplies per aircraft type
- Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
- Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items running low
- Complete all reports accurately and timely
- Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Project positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public courteously
