Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend, and climb stairs throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, carry, or hold up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a US citizen or possess appropriate INS authorization
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • Ability to verbally direct in English
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • Willingness to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • Ability to tolerate occasional loud noise levels
  • Willingness to perform 10-20% outside work
  • Treat all information as confidential
  • Must possess tact in dealings with employees and clients

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Knowledge of FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures
  • Good hearing and vision
  • Ability to work in a team environment and respond politely to customers and staff
  • Knowledge of safe work practices

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets and changing pillowcases, adding supplies, cleaning out garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, performing upholstery and rug exchanges
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items running low
  • Accurately complete all reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge and compliance with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff, and public
  • Attend meetings and inservices as required
  • Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain necessary records, reports, and files
  • Maintain proper uniform or business attire with visible identification badges
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures and participate in achievement of company objectives
  • Use company and client equipment, supplies, and resources cost-effectively
  • Perform additional duties as requested
