Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to sit, stand, lift, bend throughout shift and climb stairs
  • Ability to lift, carry or hold up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • Willingness to comply with drug tests, background checks and DMV check if required
  • Must meet immigration authorization requirements
  • 10-20 percent outside work exposure
  • Ability to treat all information as confidential
  • Must follow safe work practices
  • Must attend required trainings and meetings

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Ability to pass criminal background check
  • Capability to obtain security sensitive identification badge
  • Good hearing and vision
  • Ability to verbally direct in English
  • Strong tact and communication skills
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA and airline regulations

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillow cases, adding supplies, cleaning garbage areas, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery and rug exchange
  • Provisioning aircraft with required ship supplies according to aircraft type
  • Pulling assignments or work orders from computer systems as needed
  • Leaving notices for supervisors to reorder low supply items
  • Accurately completing reports and documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintaining familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Keeping supervisors informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintaining cleanliness of work area, and reporting maintenance needs
  • Projecting a positive image and responding courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public
  • Attending meetings and in-services as required
  • Utilizing appropriate communication channels and maintaining records, reports, and files
  • Wearing proper uniform or business attire with visible identification badges
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures and participating in company objectives
  • Using company and client equipment and supplies cost-effectively
  • Performing other duties as requested
