Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • must have a valid driver's license
  • must be able to sit, stand, lift, and/or bend for the duration of the shift and climb stairs
  • must be able to lift, carry, and/or hold up to 50 lbs
  • must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • must verbally communicate in English
  • must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
  • may be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • 10-20% outside work
  • may be exposed to occasional loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • ability to read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • knowledge of FAA, TSA, and airline regulations preferred
  • good hearing and vision
  • ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
  • ability to attend meetings and training sessions as required

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors, including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillow cases, adding supplies, cleaning out garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables, cleaning windows, upholstery and rug exchange
  • Provision aircraft as directed with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to re-order supply items that are running low
  • Do all reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries courteously
