Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry, or hold up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must meet requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be able to verbally communicate in English
  • Must be a US citizen or possess appropriate INS authorization
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • 10-20 percent of work may be outdoors
  • May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • Must treat all information as confidential
  • Must possess tactful interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and follow instructions in English
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills for pulling work orders

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and galley maintenance
  • Fold blankets, change pillowcases, add supplies, clean out garbage, position seatbelts, clean tray tables and windows, conduct upholstery and rug exchanges
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies according to aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items that are low
  • Report accurately and timely on all required documentation
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of issues and maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to airlines, staff, and the public
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required
  • Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records
  • Adhere to uniform and identification badge requirements
  • Follow company policies and contribute to objectives
  • Use equipment and supplies conscientiously and cost-effectively
  • Perform other duties as assigned
