Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • must have a valid driver’s license
  • must pass pre employment and random drug tests
  • must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
  • must be a US citizen or have necessary INS authorization
  • must be able to verbally direct and understand English
  • must have good hearing and vision
  • able to sit stand lift bend climb stairs throughout shift
  • able to lift carry hold up to 50 pounds
  • 10-20 percent outside work
  • may work weekends overnight shifts and holidays
  • may be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • treat all information as confidential
  • possess tact to deal with all levels of employees and clients

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • ability to read write understand and carry out instructions in English
  • tact and professionalism when dealing with employees and client representatives
  • familiarity with FAA TSA Airline Company regulations beneficial
  • good hearing and vision
  • ability to sit stand lift bend and climb stairs for extended periods
  • ability to lift carry or hold up to 50 pounds
  • ability to verbally communicate in English
  • positive attitude and commitment to teamwork

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming dusting cleaning bathrooms and galleys folding blankets changing pillowcases adding supplies cleaning out garbage positioning seatbelts cleaning tray tables cleaning windows upholstery and rug exchange
  • provision aircraft with required ship supplies according to aircraft type
  • pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items that are running low
  • complete all reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas maintaining cleanliness of work area and reporting maintenance needs
  • project a positive image responding courteously to inquiries from airlines staff and public
  • attend meetings and inservices as required
  • utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records reports and files as necessary
  • maintain proper uniform or business attire with visible identification badges
  • adhere to company policies and participate in achievement of company objectives
  • use company and client equipment supplies and resources cost effectively
  • perform other duties as requested
