Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug test
- Must complete a criminal background check
- May require a DMV check
- Must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have INS authorization
- Must have good hearing and vision
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift
- Must be able to lift, carry or hold up to 50 lbs
- May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- 10-20% outside work
- Must be able to verbally communicate and understand English
- Must treat all information as confidential
- Must possess tact to deal with employees and client representatives
Job Qualifications
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
- Ability to project a positive image and communicate courteously with clients and staff
- Ability to complete accurate reports and use computer systems
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, cleaning out garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery and rug exchange
- Provision aircraft with required ship supplies per aircraft type
- Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
- Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items that are running low
- Complete reports accurately and timely
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, Airline, and Company regulations
- Keep supervisor informed of work area needs and problems
- Maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond to inquiries courteously
- Attend meetings and inservice trainings
- Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records and files
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Use company and client equipment and supplies conscientiously and cost-effectively
- Perform other duties as requested
