Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to sit stand lift and bend throughout the shift and climb stairs
  • Must be able to lift carry and hold up to 50 pounds
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess necessary INS authorization
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • 10 to 20 percent outside work exposure
  • May be exposed to loud noise levels
  • Must be able to verbally direct in English

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to read write understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Familiarity with FAA TSA Airline Company regulations
  • Ability to work weekends overnight shifts and holidays if required

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming dusting cleaning bathrooms cleaning galley folding blankets changing pillow cases adding supplies cleaning out garbage positioning seatbelts cleaning tray tables cleaning windows upholstery exchange and rug exchange
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to re-order supplies that are running low
  • Do all reports accurately and timely
  • Be familiar with FAA TSA Airline Company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs problems maintain cleanliness report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
  • Attend meetings and inservices as required
