Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift and bend throughout shift
  • Must be able to lift, carry and hold up to 50 pounds
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a US citizen or possess INS authorization
  • May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • Ability to treat all information as confidential
  • Must be able to work outdoors up to 20% of the time
  • Must have good hearing and vision

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Good hearing and vision
  • Ability to verbally communicate in English
  • Knowledge of FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations preferred
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to complete reports accurately and timely

Job Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, replenishing supplies, removing garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange, and rug exchange
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies according to aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items running low
  • Complete all reports accurately and timely
  • Maintain familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems, maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance requirements
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and the public
  • Attend meetings and in-service training as required
  • Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain necessary records, reports and files
  • Adhere to company uniform policy and keep identification badges visible
  • Follow company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
  • Use company and client equipment, supplies and resources in a conscientious, cost-effective manner
  • Perform other duties as assigned
