Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- DMV check may be required
- Must meet requirements for security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a citizen of the United States or authorized by Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS)
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
- Ability to verbally communicate in English
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
- Ability to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays as required
- Good hearing and vision
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to sit, stand, climb stairs and bend throughout shift
Job Duties
- Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, and galley cleaning
- Fold blankets, change pillowcases, add supplies, clean out garbage, position seatbelts, clean tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange
- Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
- Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
- Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supplies that are running low
- Complete all reports accurately and timely
- Adhere to FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and report maintenance needs
- Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries
- Attend meetings and inservices as required
- Utilize proper communications channels and maintain records and reports
- Wear proper uniform or business attire with visible identification badges
- Comply with company policies and participate in achieving company objectives
- Use equipment, supplies and resources in a cost effective manner
- Perform other duties as requested
- Comply with all safety requirements including use of trained equipment, reporting unsafe conditions and injuries, wearing PPE and attending safety training
