Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a driver's valid license
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
  • Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend throughout shift, and climb stairs
  • 10-20% outside work
  • May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
  • May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
  • Treat all information as confidential
  • Possess tact to deal with all employee levels and client representatives

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to complete reports and maintain records
  • Capability to attend training and meetings
  • Understanding of confidentiality and tact when dealing with employees and clients
  • Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Experience working in an environment requiring attention to security and safety standards

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, galley, and upholstery
  • Folding blankets and changing pillowcases
  • Adding supplies and cleaning out garbage
  • Positioning seatbelts and cleaning tray tables and windows
  • Provisioning aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pulling assignments or work orders from computer
  • Leaving notice for supervisor to reorder supply items
  • Completing all reports accurately and timely
  • Adhering to FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Keeping supervisor informed of needs and problems
  • Maintaining cleanliness of work area and reporting maintenance needs
  • Responding to inquiries courteously
  • Attending meetings and in-services
  • Utilizing communication channels and maintaining records
  • Wearing proper uniform or business attire and displaying ID badges
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Using company equipment and supplies cost-effectively
  • Performing other duties as requested
