Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
- Must have a driver's valid license
- Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- Must complete a criminal background check
- DMV check may be required
- Must read, write, understand, and carry out instructions in English
- Must meet necessary requirements to obtain a security sensitive identification badge
- Must be a citizen of the United States or possess the necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
- Must have good hearing and vision
- Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend throughout shift, and climb stairs
- 10-20% outside work
- May be required to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays
- May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
- Treat all information as confidential
- Possess tact to deal with all employee levels and client representatives
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
- Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to complete reports and maintain records
- Capability to attend training and meetings
- Understanding of confidentiality and tact when dealing with employees and clients
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Experience working in an environment requiring attention to security and safety standards
Job Duties
- Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, galley, and upholstery
- Folding blankets and changing pillowcases
- Adding supplies and cleaning out garbage
- Positioning seatbelts and cleaning tray tables and windows
- Provisioning aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
- Pulling assignments or work orders from computer
- Leaving notice for supervisor to reorder supply items
- Completing all reports accurately and timely
- Adhering to FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
- Keeping supervisor informed of needs and problems
- Maintaining cleanliness of work area and reporting maintenance needs
- Responding to inquiries courteously
- Attending meetings and in-services
- Utilizing communication channels and maintaining records
- Wearing proper uniform or business attire and displaying ID badges
- Adhering to company policies and procedures
- Using company equipment and supplies cost-effectively
- Performing other duties as requested
