Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have a reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend and climb stairs
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Must meet requirements to obtain security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a US citizen or have INS authorization
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • Must be able to read, write and understand English
  • May work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • May be exposed to loud noise
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must treat all information as confidential
  • Must possess tact when dealing with employees and clients
  • Must be physically and mentally capable of performing all job functions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions in English
  • Good hearing and vision
  • Ability to communicate verbally in English
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline regulations a plus
  • Ability to manage physical demands of role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and professionalism

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, galley, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, cleaning garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables and windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items running low
  • Complete all reports accurately and timely
  • Familiarize with all FAA, TSA, Airline, Company regulations
  • Keep supervisor informed of needs and problems in assigned areas, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and public
  • Attend meetings and inservices as required
  • Utilize appropriate communication channels and maintain records, reports and files
  • Wear proper uniform or business attire and keep identification badges visible
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures and participate in company objectives
  • Use company and client equipment, supplies and resources cost-effectively
  • Perform other duties as requested
