Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must have reliable telephone and transportation
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to sit, stand, lift, or bend throughout shift and climb stairs
  • Must be able to lift, carry or hold up to 50 lbs
  • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
  • Must complete a criminal background check
  • DMV check may be required
  • Must meet requirements for security sensitive identification badge
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have necessary INS authorization
  • Must have good hearing and vision
  • 10-20 percent outside work
  • May be exposed to occasional loud noise levels

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, understand and carry out instructions in English
  • Ability to verbally communicate in English
  • Familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations
  • Ability to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional conduct
  • Strong interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of employees and client representatives

Job Duties

  • Thorough cleaning of aircraft interiors including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms and galleys, folding blankets, changing pillowcases, adding supplies, cleaning out garbage, positioning seatbelts, cleaning tray tables, cleaning windows, upholstery exchange and rug exchange
  • Provision aircraft with required ship supplies by aircraft type
  • Pull assignments or work orders from computer as needed
  • Leave notice for supervisor to reorder supply items that are running low
  • Complete reports accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and report maintenance needs
  • Project a positive image and respond to inquiries from airlines, staff and public courteously
