Job Requirements

  • Hs diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
  • Willingness to join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various environmental conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Previous experience in cleaning services role preferred
  • Previous experience in aviation industry preferred
  • Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand English
  • Cognitive skills to check and verify equipment and supplies
  • Ability to operate manual and mechanized cleaning equipment

Job Duties

  • Equip airplane cabin by reading checklist specifications with supplies such as rugs, linens, blankets, and carry supplies weighing up to 50 lbs on board aircraft
  • Check condition, clean, sort, count, salvage and/or store equipment and assemble kits
  • Operate vacuum cleaner and similar mechanized cleaning aids
  • Check deliveries of supplies against requisitions to determine discrepancies
  • Perform aircraft interior cleaning including equipping the cabin for flight according to specifications with equipment and cabin service supplies
  • Clean interior of aircraft by hand or powered equipment using cleaners
  • Complete the aircraft cleaning bill of work as required
