Job Requirements
- Specialized experience in air traffic control
- Facility rating or area certification
- Successful completion of TETRA if not certified at level 10 or above
- Ability to work varying shifts
- Compliance with FAA federal employment guidelines
- Willingness to adhere to safety protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent
Job Qualifications
- Facility rated or area certified in an ATO terminal or en route facility
- Proven experience in air traffic control
- Ability to pass the Ten Eleven Twelve Radar Assessment if not certified at level 10 or above
- Compliance with FAA Form 3330-43-1 rating criteria
- Strong communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Familiarity with FAA air traffic control procedures
Job Duties
- Ensure safe flow of air traffic
- Coordinate air traffic within radar terminal
- Monitor and communicate with aircraft to prevent collisions
- Manage orderly expeditious air traffic movement
- Comply with FAA procedures and regulations
- Utilize radar and other technological systems for traffic control
- Pass required radar assessments and maintain certifications
