Job Requirements
- Hold or have held an Automated Flight Service Station (AFSS) or Flight Service Station (FSS) facility rating issued by the FAA
- Possess at least one year of specialized experience in an air traffic facility
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of FAA air traffic control laws and regulations
- Be proficient with FAA platforms such as OASIS, CEDAR, and eSRS
- Complete FAA Form 3330-43 (unrated) as part of the qualifications determination
- Clearly state possession of facility rating in application package
- Meet all qualification requirements by the closing date of the announcement
Job Qualifications
- Possess a current or previous Flight Service Station facility rating
- Demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G/AT-AG (D3)/FG/GS-11
- Comprehensive knowledge of air traffic control laws, rules, and regulations
- Proficient in FAA platforms including OASIS, CEDAR, and eSRS
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Job Duties
- Provide administrative and operational support within the Flight Service Station
- Utilize FAA platforms such as OASIS, CEDAR, and eSRS for data management and operational tasks
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of air traffic control laws, rules, and regulations to support facility operations
- Coordinate with other FAA personnel and aviation stakeholders to ensure efficient service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and documentation relevant to flight service operations
- Assist in the implementation of safety and compliance measures within the facility
- Prepare reports and analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements
