Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of three years experience as CPC ATCS in FAA civilian ARTCC or equivalent facility
- Previous position held as CPC ATCS or first-level supervisory ATCS
- US citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- Must be available for day shift work
- No travel required
- Must work on-site at FAA Academy in Oklahoma City
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
- Minimum of three years experience as CPC ATCS in FAA civilian ARTCC or equivalent facility
- Previous experience as CPC ATCS or first-level supervisory ATCS
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- OJTI certification and experience preferred
- Recent ATC experience with ERAM preferred
Job Duties
- Provide air traffic control instruction for en route operations
- Develop and deliver training curriculum to FAA air traffic controller students
- Conduct recurrent training and assessments for current air traffic controllers
- Utilize ERAM and related ATC systems in practical training sessions
- Supervise and mentor trainee controllers during on-the-job training
- Collaborate with FAA and contractor personnel to ensure training quality and compliance
- Maintain accurate records of trainee progress and certification status
