Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years CPC ATCS experience in FAA civilian TRACON or equivalent facility
  • Experience at FAA ATC Level-10 facility or higher
  • Previously held position of CPC ATCS or first-level supervisory ATCS
  • US citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Certified Professional Controller certification

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
  • Minimum of 3 years of CPC experience at an FAA civilian TRACON or equivalent civilian facility
  • Experience at or exceeding FAA ATC Level-10 facility
  • Prior position as CPC ATCS or first-level supervisory ATCS
  • US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • OJTI certification and experience (desired)

Job Duties

  • Deliver TRACON Skill Enhancement Workshop (TSEW) instruction
  • Conduct Ten, Eleven, Twelve Radar Assessment (TETRA) sessions
  • Provide training and assessment support for advanced air traffic control operations
  • Collaborate with FAA Academy staff and other instructors to ensure effective curriculum delivery
  • Monitor and evaluate trainee progress and provide feedback
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold FAA standards during all instructional activities
  • Support FAA’s mission to maintain a safe and efficient National Airspace System
