Job Requirements

  • us citizenship
  • ability to obtain and maintain public trust clearance
  • minimum five years FAA CPC experience controlling live traffic
  • experience at same or higher level ATC facility as Billings ATCT/TRACON
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA certified professional controller certification
  • ability to obtain instructor-II certification

Job Qualifications

  • us citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance
  • minimum five years of FAA certified professional controller experience
  • experience controlling live traffic at the same or higher level as Billings ATCT/TRACON
  • operational experience with ATC simulators and scenario design
  • demonstrated teaching and classroom management skills
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • FAA certified professional controller certification
  • ability to obtain instructor-II simulation laboratory and classroom certification

Job Duties

  • deliver high-quality classroom and/or simulation training
  • mentor students and remote pilot operators
  • participate in curriculum design and development
  • obtain radar and/or non-radar simulation laboratory certifications
  • interface effectively with FAA personnel to ensure training meets operational needs
  • utilize and design scenarios for ATC simulators
  • apply classroom management techniques to enhance learning environment
