Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in air export freight forwarding
- Proficient in freight forwarding software
- Strong knowledge of TSA, IATA, and U.S. export regulations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously
- Detail oriented and organized
- Ability to work full-time on-site in Lyndhurst, NJ
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in air export freight forwarding
- Strong knowledge of air export procedures, regulations, and documentation
- Experience with freight forwarding systems such as CargoWise, Cargowise One, or similar
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
Job Duties
- Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments including bookings, documentation, and compliance
- Prepare and process export documentation such as HAWBs, MAWBs, AES filings
- Arrange pick-up and delivery with carriers and trucking companies
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues
- Ensure compliance with TSA, IATA, and U.S. export regulations
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating updates and addressing inquiries
- Work closely with the operations and sales teams to meet customer expectations
- Invoice shipments and ensure proper billing
