Job Requirements
- Associates degree or equivalent
- 4-6 years of freight forwarding experience preferred
- Certified CargoWise Specialist (CCO) required
- Ability to use CargoWise software proficiently
- Strong math and geographical skills
- Ability to analyze data and draw conclusions
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Knowledge of industry regulations and company policies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Good communication skills
- Ability to respond professionally to customer needs and feedback

Job Qualifications

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of freight movement, air vendors, air space configurations, container loads, regulatory requirements, pricing, service routings, product offerings, equipment types, incoterms, and shipment profitability
- Intermediate knowledge of country regulations and company policies
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond promptly and professionally to customer needs and to solicit feedback to improve performance
- Ability to work well in a team and demonstrate respect and accountability in the workplace

Job Duties
- Work with customers to qualify their shipping requirements and obtain all necessary details including regulations, certificates, and documentation for shipment quotation and operation
- Prepare profitable quotations accurately
- Complete shipment process in CargoWise with tasks such as data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, AES entry, airline bookings, routing, and operational milestone updates
- Coordinate day-to-day air import and export of products including reviewing orders and documentation
- Track and communicate all delays, damages, or issues and work to resolve customer problems
- Manage all aspects of air import and export operations including customer service, shipment data entry, operations, and billing
- Monitor and ensure shipments move as scheduled and update system upon verification, addressing deviations immediately
- Coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with cartage agents and international partners
- Partner with local sales teams to communicate problems to customers, international partners, and other stations
- Ensure compliance with customer SOP instructions and AIT KPIs and guidelines
- Ensure proper billing of all shipments within company guidelines and timelines
- Perform other duties as assigned based on business demands
