Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years industry experience in export/import operations
  • previous work experience in ITAR and Dangerous Goods regulations preferred
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced working environment
  • high attention to detail and strong organizing skills
  • ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Job Qualifications

  • A team player who works well with others, a strong work ethic with an appreciation for ownership, independence, accountability and autonomy, growth mindset with passion for continuous improvement, customer service focus with ability to build relationships, high school diploma or GED, 3-5 years industry experience in export/import operations, previous work experience in ITAR and Dangerous Goods regulations preferred, CargoWise experience a plus, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, excellent communication skills both verbal and written, ability to multi-task in a high volume, fast-paced environment, high attention to detail and strong organizing skills, ability to work autonomously and within a team environment

Job Duties

  • Work with customers to qualify their shipping requirements and obtain all details such as regulations, certificates, and documentation necessary for shipment quotation and operation
  • prepare profitable quotations accurately
  • complete shipment process in CargoWise including data entry, pickup/delivery scheduling, AES entry, airline bookings, routing and operational milestone updates
  • coordinate the day to day air export of products including reviewing orders and documents
  • track and communicate all delays, damages, problems, and resolve customer issues
  • manage all aspects of air export international operations including customer service, data entry, operations and billing
  • monitor and ensure shipments move as scheduled and update system immediately upon verification
  • coordinate recovery and delivery schedules with various cartage agents and international partners
  • partner with local sales teams to communicate issues to customers, international partners and other stations
  • ensure adherence to customers' SOP instructions and AIT KPIs and guidelines
  • ensure all shipments are billed properly within company guidelines and timelines
  • perform other duties as assigned by business demands
