Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years relevant freight forwarding experience preferred
  • Basic math and geography skills
  • Ability to analyze numerical data and interpret written and verbal directions
  • Ability to learn and apply CargoWise software
  • Knowledge of freight forwarding concepts and regulations or ability to learn quickly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and meet customer deadlines
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and within a team

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years freight forwarding experience preferred
  • Basic math and geography skills
  • Ability to analyze numerical data and identify patterns
  • Basic knowledge or ability to learn CargoWise
  • Understanding of freight movement, air vendors, space configurations, pricing, service routings, and shipment profitability
  • Knowledge or ability to learn country regulations and AIT policies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Customer service focus and ability to work well in a team

Job Duties

  • Receive and validate customer order including documentation and compliance requirements
  • Identify best routing and transit option according to customer requests and SOP
  • Secure quotations from vendors and agents for all potential order costs
  • Issue quotations to customers or overseas offices and confirm acceptance
  • Track flight arrivals and update system milestones
  • Issue arrival notices and distribute per customer requirements
  • Dispatch inland carriage with subcontractors if applicable
  • Track shipment arrival to final CFS and confirm delivery
  • Accrue costs in CargoWise and perform profitability checks
  • Issue invoices and distribute documents as required
  • Manage customer reporting and system milestones
  • Confirm final cost accrual and profitability completion
