  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-5 years of freight forwarding experience
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with CargoWise Enterprise system is a plus
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and maintain quality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Solid team player with high energy and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Receive, review, and process import documentation from global offices
  • Communicate with worldwide offices and agents regarding import documentation
  • Process arrival notices for incoming shipments
  • Track and review shipping status to ensure timely departure, arrival, and delivery
  • Enter milestone data into systems
  • Notify and distribute documents to AIT CHB and customs brokers
  • Enter accurate and timely consolidation costs into Cargo Wise
  • Maintain and update database of key carrier and CFS contacts
  • Collaborate with customs brokers and logistics providers to resolve issues
  • Process cargo deliveries, update Cargo Wise, and collect receivables
  • Coordinate release of goods from carriers and governmental agencies
  • Communicate effectively with agents, coworkers, and supervisors
  • Adhere to domestic and international shipping regulations
  • Report transaction problems or irregularities to management
