Job Requirements
- Military membership in the Nebraska National Guard
- Males born after December 31, 1959 must be registered for Selective Service
- Obtain and maintain the required security clearance and background check
- Complete any required probationary period
- Mandatory direct deposit enrollment
- Accept potential recoupment of military incentive bonuses
- Maintain proficiency in Air Transportation Operations
- Maintain Joint Inspection or Joint Inspection Instructor Qualified status
Job Qualifications
- National Guard membership is required
- Membership in a compatible military assignment in the Nebraska Air National Guard
- Must be eligible for immediate National Guard membership if not currently a member
- Valid state driver’s license
- Experience in air transportation functions including wing deployment training, passenger and cargo manifesting, load planning, and hazardous cargo preparation
- Ability to follow instructions and safely operate required equipment
- Military grade between E1 and E5
- Knowledge of Air National Guard operations and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Formulate, implement, and document training programs for wing augmentation in air transportation deployment functions
- Provide technical advice on air transportation issues to installation deployment personnel and commanders
- Conduct hands-on and classroom training on load planning and deployment procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety standards for air cargo through prescribed inspection processes
- Monitor and administer transportation data systems for In-Transit Visibility
- Analyze operational plans and develop policies for air terminal activities
- Coordinate air terminal operations with federal and military agencies to support deployment and flight safety
