Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language fluently
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to judge distances accurately
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in high-noise environments

Job Duties

  • Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers
  • Drive vehicles weighing between 3,000 and 80,000 lbs in congested airport areas
  • Assist with aircraft push-out and guide pilots during push-back procedures
  • Complete necessary forms and reports related to cargo handling
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of work areas and equipment
