Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
  • ability to work in a high-noise level environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • valid driver’s license
  • ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • ability to judge distances
  • ability to follow verbal commands and safety warnings
  • experience operating cargo handling equipment preferred

Job Duties

  • Move air cargo within designated warehouse
  • load and unload cargo from pallets and containers
  • build up cargo for outbound flights
  • break down cargo from import flights
  • facilitate loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks
  • operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklifts, aircraft pallets, and pallet jacks
  • check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions, and documents
  • transport cargo to and from aircraft using 3,000 lb. vehicle
  • communicate effectively with ground-to-cockpit hand signals and voice commands
  • comply with site security procedures and report suspicious activities
