Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- valid driver’s license
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e., Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and days off
- willingness to join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
- ability to understand and follow verbal commands and safety instructions
- experience with basic cargo handling equipment is a plus
- good communication skills
- detail-oriented and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Responsible for moving air cargo within designated warehouse
- load and unload cargo from pallets and containers
- build up cargo for outbound flights
- break down cargo from import flights
- facilitate the loading and unloading of cargo to and from semitrucks
- may operate basic cargo handling equipment such as forklift, aircraft pallets and pallet jacks
- check freight for proper piece count, weight, dimensions and documents as appropriate when accepting or delivering cargo
- confirm dangerous goods have been checked within aircraft limits and follow specific procedure for DG shipments when received, including when shipment is abandoned by consignee
- ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings, with and without assistance of sight or visual aids
