Job Requirements

  • HS diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to successfully communicate with others
  • Ability to work in high-noise level environments
  • Ability to pull, push, and lift items weighing up to 70 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to understand and speak English fluently
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Experience operating vehicles in congested and industrial environments
  • Ability to perform physical labor in variable weather conditions
  • Knowledge of safety and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material on and off aircraft
  • Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
  • Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material
  • Complete forms and messages related to cargo handling functions
  • Clean and service cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
  • Drain lavatories and handle passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies
  • Assist in loading, unloading, and racking drums
  • De-ice aircraft and clear aircraft windshields
  • Push out/tow aircraft and perform related guide functions
  • Connect and remove ground power and ground start units
  • Clean work areas, ramps, and facilities
  • Monitor security of facility and report breaches
  • Perform routine automotive repair and equipment servicing
