Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to successfully communicate with others
- Ability to work in high-noise level environments
- Ability to pull, push, and lift items weighing up to 70 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to understand and speak English fluently
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Experience operating vehicles in congested and industrial environments
- Ability to perform physical labor in variable weather conditions
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures
Job Duties
- Load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material on and off aircraft
- Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
- Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
- Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material
- Complete forms and messages related to cargo handling functions
- Clean and service cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
- Drain lavatories and handle passenger service cabin furnishings and supplies
- Assist in loading, unloading, and racking drums
- De-ice aircraft and clear aircraft windshields
- Push out/tow aircraft and perform related guide functions
- Connect and remove ground power and ground start units
- Clean work areas, ramps, and facilities
- Monitor security of facility and report breaches
- Perform routine automotive repair and equipment servicing
