Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions such as jet engine fumes, vehicle emissions, dust, and jet engine noise
- Ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow
- Required to join the Transport Workers Union and pay union dues as this job is under a collective bargaining agreement.

- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to understand and react to verbal commands and safety warnings

- Experience working in high-noise, outdoor, and ramp environments preferred but not required.
Job Duties
- Load and unload aircraft of cargo weighing up to 70 lbs in and out of aircraft within confined cargo areas
- Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers to aircraft
- Drive vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in areas congested with aircraft, moving and stationary vehicles and equipment
- Transport cargo to and from aircraft, driving a 3,000 lb vehicle and negotiating congested areas
- Read off-load sheets to determine cargo destinations
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
- Work in high-noise environments and respond to verbal commands and safety warnings
- Judge distances accurately for safety
- Confront and question unauthorized personnel in secure areas and report incidents
- Report to work regularly and timely
- Comply with WFS site security procedures for warehouse and operations.
