Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs unassisted
  • Ability to judge distances
  • Ability to work in high-noise environments
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English fluently
  • Experience supervising or leading teams preferred
  • Knowledge of airport ramp operations advantageous
  • Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely

Job Duties

  • Manage overall performance of the crew
  • Complete work assignments timely and satisfactorily per company policy
  • Comply with WFS site security procedures
  • Monitor activities of staff, security contractors, and visitors and report security issues
  • Lead on-the-job training, crew meetings, and instruction in operational procedures
  • Load and unload cargo up to 70 lbs in confined areas
  • Operate and guide vehicles weighing from 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested aircraft areas
  • Communicate with cockpit during push-back procedures
  • Transport cargo using vehicles with attached carts
  • Read off-load sheets to determine cargo destinations
  • Enforce security measures by confronting unauthorized personnel
