Job Duties
- Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 lbs within confined aircraft cargo compartments
- Push, pull, and position loaded cargo containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on aircraft roller systems
- Transport cargo between terminals, warehouses, and aircraft using vehicles weighing up to 3,000 lbs
- Operate ramp vehicles safely in congested areas with moving aircraft, equipment, and personnel
- Use accurate depth perception to maneuver vehicles with attached cargo carts through tight ramp spaces
- Read and interpret off-load sheets to ensure proper routing and placement of cargo
- Communicate clearly with ramp personnel, warehouse staff, and supervisors to support safe cargo operations
