Job Requirements

HS diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language
Must join the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and pay union dues
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions
Ability to distinguish red, green, and yellow colors

Job Qualifications

High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Effective communication skills
Ability to operate vehicles in congested airport areas safely
Familiarity with cargo handling procedures
Experience working in a fast-paced environment beneficial

Job Duties

Load and unload cargo including mail, express, baggage, freight, and company material on and off aircraft
Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
Perform ramp transfers of cargo where required
Receive, deliver, and physically handle freight and company material at designated docks
Complete forms and messages related to cargo handling and ramp operations
Comply with WFS site security procedures and report security breaches
Communicate effectively with cockpit crew and other team members during aircraft push-back operations
