Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- must be at least 18 years of age
- valid driver’s license
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow
- ability to work in various weather and environmental conditions
- physical ability to perform demanding ramp tasks
- membership in the Transport Workers Union and payment of union dues required
Job Qualifications

- ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- experience driving large vehicles in congested areas preferred
- good communication skills
- ability to work in high-noise environments
- knowledge of airport safety protocols
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 lbs
- push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers
- drive vehicles weighing 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested ramp areas
- assist with aircraft push-back procedures by guiding drivers and communicating with cockpit
- transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
- communicate using hand signals and voice commands during ground operations
- comply with site security procedures and report any breaches or unauthorized personnel
