Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs
- Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions
- Ability to distinguish colors red, green and yellow
- Must join the Transport Workers Union (TWU) and pay union dues
Job Qualifications

- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in high-noise and outdoor environments
- Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
Job Duties
- Load and unload cargo weighing up to 70 lbs in and out of aircraft
- Push, pull, and position loaded containers weighing up to 3,200 lbs on rollers to aircraft
- Drive vehicles with gross weights of 3,000 to 80,000 lbs in congested aircraft areas
- Assist with aircraft push-back by guiding drivers and communicating with cockpit
- Transport cargo using 3,000 lb vehicles and read off-load sheets for cargo destination
- Use hand signals and voice commands for ground to cockpit communication
- Pull water hoses and connect to aircraft
- Lift and connect overhead 40 lb KVA electric cables
- De-ice aircraft lifting to heights of 20-80 ft
- Confront unauthorized personnel and report security breaches
- Maintain regular and timely attendance
