Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to successfully communicate with others
  • Ability to work in variable weather and environmental conditions
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 70 lbs
  • Ability to work in high-noise environments
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to communicate effectively with others
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English fluently
  • Valid driver's license
  • Experience operating vehicles in congested airport environments is preferred

Job Duties

  • Load and unload cargo including mail, express shipments, baggage, and company materials on and off aircraft
  • Transport cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Perform ramp transfers of cargo as required
  • Receive, deliver, and handle freight and company material at designated docks
  • Clean and service aircraft cabin interiors including cockpit and lavatories
  • Drain lavatories and handle cabin furnishings and supplies
  • Clear aircraft windshields and assist in push-out/towing procedures
  • Connect and remove ground power and start units
  • De-ice aircraft by spraying glycol and lifting spray equipment to up to 80 feet
  • Perform routine cleaning of work areas, ramps, and facilities
  • Monitor security of facility and report breaches or suspicious activity
