Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Certification to operate multiple pieces of warehouse and ramp equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of air cargo operations experience
  • Experience in training and coaching employees
  • Experience supporting safety improvement projects
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and days off
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
  • Must meet customer station-specific requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certified to operate multiple warehouse and ramp equipment including forklifts, builder, dock master, cargo screener, advanced GSE, tug, belt loader, GPU, ASU, pushback, load master, and marshaling
  • Minimum 5 years of air cargo operations experience
  • Experience in employee training and coaching
  • Experience supporting safety improvement projects
  • Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Ensure all duties performed by assigned personnel are completed in the most efficient and professional manner
  • Perform export cargo build-up, import and export cargo tracing, forklift operation, monitor utilization of dock offload and loading
  • Complete warehouse cargo inventory assessments
  • Prepare import and export flight documentation, accept and distribute cargo in accordance with air carrier and Department of Transportation regulations
  • Provide outstanding customer service to resolve customer issues
  • Ensure compliance with all ramp safety regulations, perform loading and unloading of aircraft, conduct visual FOD checks and aircraft condition checks before and after loading
  • Operate ramp equipment and coordinate the transporting of cargo between terminals and aircraft
  • Comply with all WFS safety and security policies and procedures, report security breaches and suspicious occurrences
  • Serve as a technical operational expert coordinating safe and efficient cargo movement addressing warehouse and ramp needs simultaneously
  • Provide insight on staffing structure and tasks to ensure on-time, safe, and high-quality delivery
  • Support varying customer assignments based on training and experience
