Job Requirements
- hs diploma, ged or equivalent
- minimum typing speed of 30 wpm
- must be at least 18 years of age if position requires driving cargo handling equipment
- must have a valid driver’s license and port authority or airport authority permit to use ramp side service roads
- ability to drive all cargo handling equipment
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off

Job Duties
- maintain satisfactory quantity and quality of work by assigned personnel
- explain and demonstrate work procedures and methods including safety
- apportion and schedule assigned work
- observe and analyze methods used and results achieved
- report security breaches and suspicious occurrences
- comply with site security procedures
- perform cargo documentation and computer data entry
- interface with U.S. Customs
- prepare import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo per regulations
- compile customer lists for sales leads
- solicit orders and complete sales
- quote prices and prepare sales contracts
- estimate delivery dates
- solve practical problems
- communicate with management on issues
- report to work regularly and on time
- retrieve import and export documents from aircraft
