Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must possess clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Must provide proof of legal right to work in the United States
  • Ability to type at least 35 words per minute
  • Proficiency in English reading, writing, speaking, and listening
  • Visual observation and mental acuity skills
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Responsibility, honesty, and integrity
  • Knowledge of basic arithmetic and government shipping regulations
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities
  • Ability to follow supervisor instructions

  • Ability to obtain U.S. Customs seal and Airport Operational Area driving license
  • Office skills including file maintenance, computer use, telephone handling, and multitasking
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Capacity to tolerate workplace noise and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including irregular hours, holidays, weekends, overtime, and extended hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a customer service role preferred
  • Familiarity with cargo and import shipping documentation
  • Basic computer skills and ability to operate airline systems
  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Knowledge of TSA and airport security regulations
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Capability to comply with safety and security protocols

Job Duties

  • Prepare documentation prior to flight arrival or departure
  • Travel to Airport Operational Area to meet flights and handle flight documents
  • Notify brokers or freight forwarders of shipment arrival status
  • Assist customers in retrieving documents and freight
  • Collect charges and document payment methods
  • Process customs out paperwork for every transaction
  • Complete Master Airway Bills for over-the-counter shipments
  • Confirm bookings acceptance and TSA screening compliance
  • Check dangerous goods regulations and handle abandoned shipments
  • Enter airway bill information into airline systems
  • Manifest flight cargo and deliver related documents to aircraft
  • Verify post flight inventory against documents
  • Maintain filing and records
  • Prepare reports on irregularities and statistics
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails
  • Enforce security protocols following Airport Police and TSA guidelines
