Job Requirements
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent
- valid driver's license and Port Authority or Airport Authority permit if applicable
- at least 18 years of age if driving cargo handling equipment is required
- ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays and days off
- physical ability to lift up to 70 lbs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- minimum typing speed of 30 words per minute
- ability to concentrate on detail
- ability to learn PC skills and apply knowledge
Job Duties
- Handle the stress of a fast-paced eight-hour shift
- drive all cargo handling equipment
- step up to an above ground level
- retrieve import and deliver export documents to and from aircraft
- prepare flight documents and perform computer data entry
- interface with U.S. Customs and prepare import and export documentation
- accept and distribute cargo in accordance with carrier and DOT regulations
